Where are we? Our small hamlet of Leypinas is located in the department of Correze in the Limousin region of south west France. We’re ideally placed for visits to the many, unknown attractions of this beautiful region and the popular tourist areas of the Dordogne.

GETTING HERE: GPS Coordinates: Longitude (N) 45.4359541 Latitude (E) 1.4555484 Ferries There are numerous ferry crossings from the UK. We’ve found LD Lines (click here to go to their website) , who sail Dover-Boulogne, to be the cheapest cross channel option if booked in advance. We have detailed directions available for those who choose the Dover-Calais/ Boulogne option and wish to avoid Paris. The drive from Boulogne or Calais takes about 6 ˝ to 8 ˝ hours (tolls approx. 20 Euros bypassing Paris). Flights Our nearest airport is Limoges to the north, less than an hour drive away. Ryanair ( click here to go to their website ) fly into Limoges from Stansted, East Midlands, Bristol, Leeds, Edinburgh and Liverpool airports. Flybe ( click here to go to their website ) also fly into Limoges from Southampton and Newcastle. There are cheap flights into Bordeaux (2-3 hour drive), Toulouse (2 ˝ hour drive) and Bergerac (1 ˝-2 hours). Some of the above flights are operated only in high season. Car hire is available at all airports. |
